RESEARCH INTERESTS

Hormonal regulation of plant flowering.
Self-incompatibility of cabbage.
Arbuscular mycorrhiza and its link with hormonal regulation of plant physiology.
The application of modern techniques in plant physiology studies: high performance liquid chromatography, mass spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis.

PRACTICAL SKILLS

Determination of the plant compounds (MS HPLC):
- auxines (IAA, IBA)
- cytokinines (kinetin, zeatin, their rybosides and others)
- abscisic acid (ABA)
- polyamines (putrescine, spermine, spermidine and others)
- sugars (glucose, fructose, sucrose, maltose and others)
- phenolic acids (salicylic acid, caffeic, cynnamic and others)
- flavonoids
- tocochromanoles (tocopheroles and tocotrienoles)

Capillary Electrophoresis:
- proteins
- organic and inorganic anions
